Track 10: Come With Me

There are many ways to grieve.

But there is just one way to see,

That the roads are all broken,

And the words we have spoken mean much more.

And the actions of a man do speak,

Louder when he’s down and weak,

You know.

I would walk this broken road to its end.

Just to meet you there.

We would find, all the roads they intertwine as they ascend.

I’ve missed you, friend.

Tomorrow’s not a promise,

So I’m living for today.

And the moments that I have,

Are enough to keep me glad until the end.

The light is still shining bright,

The wind is pressing on all night,

With me.

And the rope that we’re holding so tight,

Is slipping through but I will fight,

For you.

I would walk this broken road to its end.

Just to meet you there.

We would find, all the roads they intertwine as they ascend.

I’ve missed you, friend.

These days can break you down.

The wind knocks you around.

They’re monsters in the low-lit night,

But soft and kind in the daylight somehow.

Of the many ways to make it through,

The sun and stars all point to you,

It’s true.

I would walk this broken road to its end.

Just to meet you there.

We would find, all the roads they intertwine as they ascend.

I’ve missed you, friend.

I may never, make it to the end without your hand.

So I’m walking down this broken road again.

Won’t you come with me?
